How to stop Smoking .

Every cigarette smoker faces an escape option every now and then reality hits them. They know how hazardous it is to smoke cigarettes. And nobody’s duping anyone when they attest to each other how sweet and good the taste of cigarette is. Of course, the habit has made smokers ignore the odor and taste which assists enslave them to smoke. Some think that they could simply start a quit smoking plan if they wanted to and though they have that unproven knowledge, they never do anything about it but delay. Nevertheless, Smokers know that sooner or later, they have to kick the the habit.

This is the first, basic step. Try to end smoking today. After some time, you will get the desire finding you . You will have to ignore a good number of such cravings and test yourself on how long you can do it. Regard it as a great trial. You have other people trying to do the same, and you would want yourself to win this one. Regard it as bulking up, but instead of wight, you bulk up your willpower. Consider it as defeating one of your great enemies.

A good way to tide yourself from such attacks of cravings is to imagine two doors that represents two choices. Pretend that it is giving you the chance to pick either ‘Yes, a smoke would be nice’, or No, not right now.’ You will invariably click on the Yes option a good number of times at the beginning. But pretty soon, as you continuously resist and build up resistance (just like a normal workout session!), you will be able to choose the No option without any effort. Never get discouraged and decide on the No option always.

Yopu might choose Yes after an encouraging string of Nos, but it is to be expected. The important element is that you are trying and being active against your habit. It will take time, and there will be days that you wish you would just get a smoke but you are trying to stretch your will, and you know what happens to something when you continuously practice it. It will resist well after some time that you can confidently say No again and again without relapsing. There will come a time when a final alternative will show itself, perhaps after only a few weeks, depending on how well you concentrate on your effort – ’No, I think I’m done with cigarettes.’

Never let a few bad episodes of withdrawal symptoms, especially iof this is your initial attempt, to discourage you. You will be smoking again a few times, but failure is a nice way to learn and perfect your attempt eventually. Having a good willpower will also be very helpful after you quit to other bad areas of your lifestyle that you want fixed.
