Congratulations on deciding to quit smoking and to take that first step to a wealthier, healthier, longer life.
The next few weeks and months will not be easy. Whether you have been smoking for many years or a relative newcomer, it will not be easy to break this very addictive habit. Break the habit of smoking. If you always have a cigarette after a meal, then replace it with something else. A chocolate is often used, but for those of us who are overweight, this is not a good option. Try a cup of tea or a drink of water – or even clearing the table and washing up! The same thing applies to last thing at night or first thing in the morning. Try to avoid the problem by keeping busy with other activity during these danger times. A drink of cold water first thing in the morning and last thing at night is really god for you. It helps remove toxins from your body and helps your kidneys to function better.
Now that you have taken the first steps to quit smoking, keep working hard to make it stick. You CAN do it! All you need to do is want to enough.
